Italian music night:
It was mid-July. The sky was full of stars and the streets filled with people. On 24 July a music festival took place in our area, and more specifically in Stavros .
The band ,Kamafei , and the dancers were from a neightboring country , Italy. The music played in the festival was Greek music of the region of Salento, in Southern
Italy. The melody was so harmonized and the rhythm so mesmerising . The dances that were performed were quite energetic and beautiful!
This festival took place near the harbour and the whole place was crowded with people who wanted to take a close look from the captivating culture of southern
Italy. It was an amazing experience!
